Rupee Rate: Inward Remittances

Live bank telegraphic transfer (TT) buying rates to India.

Understanding Inward Remittance & TTBuy

Inward Remittance refers to money transferred from a foreign country into India. When you send money to India, your bank receives foreign currency and converts it into Indian Rupees (INR).

The TTBuy (Telegraphic Transfer Buying) Rate is the exact exchange rate the bank applies to buy the foreign currency from you and credit INR into the recipient's account.

Example Scenario:

If you transfer 100 USD to an SBI account in India, and the current SBI TTBuy rate is ₹83.50, the recipient will receive exactly ₹8,350 (100 × 83.50). Note: This is before any standard transaction fees applied by the sending or receiving bank.

Disclaimer: The rates displayed above are indicative reference prices compiled from public banking sources. Exchange rates are highly volatile and subject to change during the day. Always negotiate and confirm the final price with your bank before initiating a transfer.
